Happy New Year!

These last two weeks have been very eventful for me. It started out with my mom having back surgery, which was a HUGE success. She ended up having a calcified cyst pushing on one nerve and a bone spur pushing on another nerve. The surgeon cut out the cyst and snipped the spur alleviating the pressure on her nerves. Her pain has literally gone away. It is almost a miracle. Due to her surgery right before Christmas, I spent Christmas Eve with her and then Christmas Day with my husband, Jacob, Sydney and my husband's parents. I got a Wii, a purse and a pink beach cruiser blinged out in pink cheetah. I love it! I then got the flu as did my entire family and then got a cold, as did my entire family. My birthday was on the 30th. I turned the big 40. Yikes, I am getting old. It is scary how time can pass so quickly. I got another purse and went to Javier's in Newport Beach for the best Mexican food on the planet. We then went and saw Black Swan. Very strange movie. On Saturday, I went to Burke William's spa and had a facial and massage. I was at the spa for 5 hours. It was pure bliss. I hope your two weeks were eventful. What did you do?
